Hello. I thought a good way for you to get to know me quickly, would be by witnessing one of the most joyful times of my life. It's seen in the picture above. That's me, Melanie Hughes, smiling ear to ear in a country on the other side of the world.
If I could do one thing for the rest of my life, I would chase adventure. In the fantasy world that only lives in my head bungy jumping would be an everyday occurrence, sharing stories around the bonfire would be a nightly ritual, clothes would always be comfortable, time to write would always be available, concerts would be a weekly thing, the ocean would never cease to be in sight, riding horseback as transportation would be normal, plane tickets would be affordable, and a sailboat would be called home.
Sadly, these things are not reality.
However, I aim to make this blog a creative outlet for my restless mind and a place where adventure is common conversation.
